This portal serves as a central hub that aggregates and enhances the visibility of active funding sources, comment solicitations, research opportunities, events, and other participatory initiatives geared towards advancing transportation electrification – primarily across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
This list is managed by Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability as part of the Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative (SETRI).

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued the Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grant program (Community Change Grants). This program seeks applications and will fund community-driven projects that address climate challenges and reduce pollution while strengthening communities through thoughtful implementation. Among numerous topics, for transportation electrification, see Strategy 2: Mobility and Transportation Options for Preventing Air Pollution and Improving Public Health and Climate Resilience.
Entities eligible to apply are: 1) A partnership between two community-based non-profit organizations (CBOs); or 2)A partnership between a CBO and one of the following: a) a Federally-Recognized Tribe; b) a local government; or c) an institution of higher education.
