This portal serves as a central hub that aggregates and enhances the visibility of active funding sources, comment solicitations, research opportunities, events, and other participatory initiatives geared towards advancing transportation electrification – primarily across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
This list is managed by Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability as part of the Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative (SETRI).

Organized by NAFA (Fleet Management Association), the Green Fleet Awards recognizes peak-performing fleet sustainability efforts and honors fleets who have enhanced practices to make a positive impact on the environment.
The Green Fleet Awards is free to enter and is open to both government and commercial fleets in North America. Government fleets consist of all federal, state, and local government fleets, including fleets that are operated by local government personnel or contracted services. See link for details.

Plug In Alexandria helps multi-family communities in the City of Alexandria install electric vehicle (EV) chargers by providing expert guidance and financial assistance. For condo associations, homeowner’s associations, or apartment complexes, Plug In Alexandria helps multi-family communities identify and overcome technical and financial challenges to installing Level 2 EV chargers for residents and their guests.. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has released its fifth solicitation for projects under the Volkswagen Diesel Settlement Environmental Mitigation Trust (VW Settlement EMT). The purpose of the EMT is to execute environmental mitigation projects that reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides. Under this solicitation, $19.4 million in EMT funding is available for eligible projects.
The grant program, managed by the TDEC Office of Energy Programs, will provide financial assistance to public, non-profit, and private fleets in Tennessee to replace eligible medium- and heavy-duty vehicles with alternate-fuel (e.g., propane, natural gas, hybrid) or all-electric vehicles. Fleets may also apply to repower eligible medium- and heavy-duty vehicles with alternate-fuel or all-electric engines or drivetrains. See link for details.
