Southeast Portal for Electric Transportation Opportunities
This portal serves as a central hub that aggregates and enhances the visibility of active funding sources, comment solicitations, research opportunities, events, and other participatory initiatives geared towards advancing transportation electrification – primarily across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
This list is managed by Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability as part of the Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative (SETRI).

The State Energy Office (SCEO) received formula funding through the US Department of Energy’s (US DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program to award subgrants to projects and programs that improve energy efficiency, cut carbon emissions, and reduce energy use in South Carolina. "Transportation electrification" among eligible categories.

On November 18th, the Southeastern Team Reducing the Impacts of Diesel Emissions (STRIDE) Collaborative (part of EPA’s National Clean Diesel Campaign), partners in eight southern states in agriculture, construction, transportation, shipping, energy, and the environment will come together online to attend the STRIDE Clean Fuels Workshop. This virtual conference will feature speakers on a variety of topics including: clean diesel technology, renewable fuels, and fleet experiences.
