Southeast Portal for Electric Transportation Opportunities
This portal serves as a central hub that aggregates and enhances the visibility of active funding sources, comment solicitations, research opportunities, events, and other participatory initiatives geared towards advancing transportation electrification – primarily across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
This list is managed by Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability as part of the Southeast Electric Transportation Regional Initiative (SETRI).

The Electric Vehicle Working Group (EVWG) was formed by the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation to make recommendations to the Secretaries of Energy and Transportation regarding the development, adoption, and integration of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs) into the U.S. Members of the public who would like to participate may do so virtually and must register for the meeting.
Tentative meeting agenda includes a report out and discussion lead by each of the three subcommittees:
-Medium/heavy-duty adoption
-Grid integration
-Charging network

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is soliciting responses to design, construct, install, finance, operate, and maintain electric vehicle charging infrastructure compliant with the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. Georgia's NEVI Deployment Program: Round 2 has identified 33 locations in the Request for Proposal (RFP) where the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure will fill gaps in the state's Alternative Fuel Corridors charging station network.
